Abstract:

This paper presents a pattern for distributed environments without
system level support for distributed objects. The Warden pattern
allows to share objects and control their access in that
environment. It is an object behavioral pattern that simplifies the
management of object sharing over a network, and provides message
dispatching conformance and assignment of access rights in non-local
environments, to prevent the incorrect access to an object in
colaborative applications.
